The Association of Manitoba Museums and the Museums it represents are located on Indigenous ancestral lands on Treaty One, Two, Three, Four and Five Territories.

We Acknowledge Manitoba is located on the ancestral land of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline and Nehethowuk Nations and is the Homeland of the Red River Métis. We are grateful to the Indigenous Peoples who care for the land which we share.

We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to moving forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
